Partnership forms for midstream ventures

Discovery Midstream Holdings LLC, partners in which are former executives of Wildcat Midstream Partners LLC, have formed a partnership with Old Ironsides Energy LLC seeking midstream infrastructure acquisitions and opportunities for greenfield development in North America.

Discovery Midstream and Wildcat Midstream both are based in Dallas. Old Ironsides, Boston, is an independent oil and gas investment manager founded in 2013.

Discovery Midstream partners include Pres. Mike Davis, who cofounded and remains a partner of Wildcat Midstream; Chief Commercial Officer Steven Meisel; and Chief Financial Officer Drew Chambers—all managing partners. Other partners are Chief Operating Officer Cory Jordan and Chief Accounting Officer Julie Hartmann.

James W. Bryant, who cofounded Regency Gas Services LLC, now Regency Energy Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of Energy Transfer Partners, is Discovery Midstream senior adviser.

Discovery Midstream started up last year to work in natural gas gathering, processing, treating, and compression; crude oil logistics; and water logistics.
