Meek, Grainger join IMCA’s council

Harke Jan Meek and Iain Grainger have been appointed to the council of the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA).

Meek since October 2013 has been chief commercial officer at Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC), where he’s a member of the board and responsible for the commercial and technology departments. He joined the firm in 2012 in a commercial and business development role for SURF projects. He was previously with SBM Offshore NV in Monaco and Jakarta in business development roles.

Grainger is vice-president, commercial for McDermott International’s Europe and Africa region and general manager of its UK office, having recently relocated from Houston where he was vice-president of corporate strategy. He has a 30-year career in senior positions with leading industry contractors, recently with Subsea 7 SA as vice-president of corporate strategy and business development.
