Fusco tabbed as Cheniere president, chief executive officer

Jack A. Fusco has been appointed by Cheniere Energy Inc. as its president and chief executive officer. He succeeds Neal A. Shear, who has served as Cheniere’s interim president and chief executive officer since December 2015.

A 30-year industry veteran, Fusco joins Cheniere from Calpine Corp., where he most recently served as executive chairman. Before that he served as chief executive officer and a board member from August 2008 to May 2014. He will continue to serve as a board director of Calpine.
