Shell lets contract for Scottish gas processing plants

Royal Dutch Shell PLC has renewed a contract with Wood Group PLC, Aberdeen, to provide industrial services to the company’s gas processing assets in Scotland.

As part of the new 3-year contract, which takes effect immediately and has an option to be extended for up to 4 years, Wood Group Industrial Services Ltd. will deliver fabric integrity maintenance and site support to Shell’s St. Fergus gas processing plant in Aberdeenshire, as well as to the Mossmorran gas processing plant and Braefoot Bay marine terminal in Fife, Scotland, Wood Group said.

The current contract builds on Wood Group’s existing 20-year history supporting Shell on these assets, the service company said.

A value of the contract was not disclosed.
