Still resigns as Laredo president, chief operating officer

Jay P. Still has resigned from his position of president, chief operating officer, and member of the board of Tulsa independent Laredo Petroleum Inc.

Still, who’s resignation is effective Jan. 28, is leaving to pursue other interests.

Laredo’s board has determined that Still’s duties will be assumed by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Randy A. Foutch.

Laredo operates primarily in the Permian basin in West Texas.
