Albania: Petromanas spuds Molisht wildcat

Petromanas Energy Inc., Calgary, has spudded the Molisht-1 exploratory well on onshore Blocks 2-3 in Albania 17 km south of the company’s Shpirag-2 wildcat.

The company plans to drill Molisht-1 to 5,500 m over a 9-month period at a cost of $62 million including road and lease construction.

Meanwhile, the company plans to test 350-400 m of carbonate zone at Shpirag-2 starting in mid-September. Total depth is 5,547 m.
