ONGC appoints director, exploration

HOUSTON, Feb. 28
-- Oil & Natural Gas Corp. appointed Shri Rao as director, exploration.

Rao has more than 35 years of experience in exploration and exploitation of oil and gas fields covering the entire gamut of field exploration, well site investigations, and geological and geophysical assessment.

Rao was the head of the exploration and development directorate, Dehradun, which is ONGC’s corporate exploration wing. He has also served as chief of offshore exploration and development.
