Twin Eagle Sand Logistics acquires terminaling asset from Process Transloading Bridgeport

Twin Eagle Sand Logistics LLC, a subsidiary of Twin Eagle Resource Management LLC, has acquired a frac sand terminaling asset near Bridgeport, West Virginia from Process Transloading Bridgeport. The Bridgeport Terminal is positioned to serve the southern Utica and Marcellus sand logistic markets with over 130 railcar spots and 20k tons of flat and silo storage. The terminal represents Twin Eagle’s entry into the Northeast sand logistics market.

Twin Eagle is a frac sand terminal developers and operator with assets in the Eagle Ford, Permian, DJ and Powder River Basins. Twin Eagle’s current terminals, combined, control over 1,600 rail car spaces with nearly 85,000 tons of storage capacity. In addition, Twin Eagle is also constructing 30,000 tons of silo capacity in Big Spring, Texas.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Twin Eagle provides midstream energy and wholesale energy services for customers throughout North America. Twin Eagle was founded in 2010. Through its wholesale business unit, Twin Eagle is a wholesale marketing of energy-related commodities including natural gas, power, and environmental products and services. Through its midstream business unit, named Twin Eagle Midstream, Twin Eagle owns and operates crude oil and frac sand logistical assets and provides related marketing of crude oil and natural gas liquids.
