Douglas G. Stephens, CEO and member of the board of supervisory directors for Frank’s International NV (NYSE: FI), has left the company to pursue other interests. The company has named Michael C. Kearney as president and CEO, effective immediately, in addition to his ongoing role as chairman.
Kearney was appointed to the company’s supervisory board in 2013 and was lead supervisory director from May 2014 until December 2015, when he was named chairman. In addition, he has served on the audit committee since 2013 and the compensation committee from 2014 until 2016.
Kearney previously served as president and CEO of DeepFlex Inc., a privately-held oil service company following service as the company’s CFO. Kearney also served as executive vice president and CFO of Tesco Corp. and as CFO and vice president—administration for Hydril Company. Kearney received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University as well as a Master of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Houston.
