US DOE issues Hurricane Harvey situation reports

Tropical Storm Harvey has devastated parts of the Texas gulf coast and continues to produce weather impacts throughout the eastern Texas and into western Louisiana. The US Department of Energy is providing event reports regarding the impacts on both the electricity sector and the oil and natural gas sector. The latest report, as of 4:00 PM EDT, Wednesday, August 30, can be found here.

Included in the reports are details about the energy industry recovery and restoration activities being undertaken. An archive of the situation reports is available at the Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability's website.
