ConocoPhillips supports Harvey relief efforts with $5M in donations

ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) has made two key donations to assist and support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts and Gulf Coast-Area communities. The company increased its donation to the American Red Cross to $2.5 million and announced a $2.5 million donation to the United Way of Greater Houston. Throughout this event, ConocoPhillips has taken multiple actions to address employee needs and support their individual outreach efforts, including matching employees’ and retirees’ personal donations to eligible relief organizations.

“Our priority remains ensuring the safety of our employees and our operations. However, as members of a much larger community that needs our help, we stand ready and willing to do our part. We encourage others to follow.”

The donation will support relief efforts throughout the affected regions.
