Occidental Petroleum appoints Burgher as CFO

Occidental Petroleum Corp. (NYSE:OXY) has appointed Cedric W. Burgher as CFO. Burgher most recently served as a senior vice president at EOG Resources. He replaces Chris Stavros, who is retiring from Occidental. Stravos joined the company in 2005.

Burgher is a seasoned energy executive with more than 30 years of experience leading CFO, financial and investor functions at a number of global companies. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Dallas.
