Greyrock Energy adds to board of directors

Greyrock Energy Inc. has named two industry veterans, Andrew Hinkly and Charles Williamson, to its board of directors.    

Hinkly is currently Executive Head Marketing of Anglo American Platinum and joined Anglo American in 2008 as group head of procurement and supply chain after working for the Ford Motor Company for 20 years.  He brings to Greyrock extensive global experience in finance, purchasing, strategy and new market development.

Williamson was chairman and CEO of Unocal Corp. for five years until its acquisition by Chevron Corp., where he served as executive vice president until 2005. He also served as chairman of Talisman Energy until their acquisition by Repsol SA in 2015, and chairman of Weyerhaeuser Company for six years.  He currently is the lead director of Weyerhaeuser Co. and PACCAR Inc.

Founded in 2006, Greyrock has developed its Direct Fuel Production™ technology and GreyCat™ catalyst, enabling production of clean liquid fuels from a variety of gas resources, including flare gas, bio-gas, natural gas, and natural gas liquids.
