AlixPartners adds Hindman to firm’s turnaround and restructuring team

AlixPartners, a global business advisory firm, has appointed David Hindman as a new managing director in the turnaround and restructuring team based in the firm's new Houston office. Hindman will work with clients in the energy sector facing strategic, financial, and operational challenges, to restore performance and create value. He brings over 15 years' transformation and turnaround experience to the role, in addition to extensive energy industry expertise.

Hindman joins AlixPartners from Direct Energy, a subsidiary of Centrica plc, where he led successful turnarounds of two of the company's largest divisions. Prior to this role, he was a leader in the corporate finance and energy practices at McKinsey and before that a restructuring adviser at UBS Warburg LLC.

Hindman holds a bachelor’s degrees from Rice University and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
