Siluria appoints Trout as CEO

Robert Trout Robert Trout has been named CEO of Siluria Technologies, a provider of process technologies for the energy and petrochemical industries. Trout will also join Siluria's board of directors.

Trout brings almost 30 years of experience to the company. Trout has spent his entire career at Royal Dutch Shell in numerous leadership roles. Most recently, he served as the president of Criterion Catalysts & Technologies where he was responsible for overall integrated strategy related to Shell's catalyst and licensing businesses, and directly accountable for the global refining catalyst business.

Trout takes over for Erik Scher, who had been serving as Interim CEO and president. Scher remains part of the company’s executive team.

Siluria Technologies is pioneering the commercial production of fuels and chemicals made from natural gas.
