SPATCO Energy Solutions, a North America distributor for Galileo USA, has completed installation and two months of operation of the first North American Galileo Cryobox Nano Station for Terra Energy Group in North Dakota. This new Cryobox unit, which is a micro-scale natural gas liquefier, in its first month of operation helped prevent the flaring of millions of standard cubic feet of natural gas.

Today, we’re consistently producing 7,800 to 8,500 LNG gallons per day based on production output from the wells.”
Terra Energy commissioned the Cyrobox liquefier to help its customers reduce both natural gas flaring and their overall fuel spend by capturing their natural gas at the well-pad, liquefying the gas on-site, and transporting the gas to other points of their operations where the gas can then be put to use as a fuel for powering drilling rigs, water heating, and other power generation needs.
The Galileo Cryobox is a small-scale, transportable LNG production plant capable of converting pipeline or well-head natural gas into LNG. The Galileo Cryobox can be installed wherever LNG is needed. Each Cryobox is modular, scalable, easy to install and maintain, and capable of generating both LNG and CNG at low operating costs. Cryobox units are remotely monitored and compliant with all international standards. The units operate with little environmental impact, generating low levels of noise and vibration with no emissions. In addition to deployment in oil and gas fields, applications for Cryobox include marine bunkering, rail, mining, heavy duty trucking, and power generation.
