Exterran to close equipment manufacturing facility near Houston

Exterran Corp. plans to close a facility near Houston, eliminating 241 jobs, according to Houston Business Journal, citing the company’s notification to the Texas Workforce Commission.

Job cuts began on March 31 and will continue through June 30.

The company specializes in oil and gas production equipment, natural gas compression, produced water treatment solutions, and gas processing and treating.
