NextEra prices offering of common units

NextEra Energy Partners LP (NYSE: NEP) has priced a registered underwritten offering of 9,700,000 common units representing limited partner interests in NextEra Energy Partners LP at a public offering price of $26 per common unit. The underwriter has a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,455,000 common units from NextEra Energy Partners.

The offering is expected to close on Feb. 26. NextEra Energy Partners intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to fund, in part, its recently announced acquisition of the Seiling I & II Wind Energy Centers.

Morgan Stanley is acting as sole bookrunner for the public offering.
