Express Energy Services hires Bodden as president and CEO

Stuart Bodden has joined Express Energy Services, an oilfield services company, as president and CEO, based in Express' headquarters in Houston.

Darron Anderson, former CEO of Express Energy Services, resigned Sept. 7, after leading the company for 10 years. Mark Reese, chairman at Express, has served as interim CEO while the company's board searched for Anderson's replacement.

Prior to joining Express, Bodden, an 18-year industry veteran, spent time in various executive roles in the oil and gas industry throughout the US and Asia. He recently served as CEO for Innovative Deepwater Exploration, an oil and gas development company focused on Southeast Asia and, prior to that, led the upstream business of Pacific Oil & Gas. Bodden was a Partner at McKinsey & Company in Houston and Singapore, leading projects in the oilfield services and upstream oil and gas sectors during his 10+ year tenure.

Bodden received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas, Austin.
