Enertia Software elects new president and CEO

Vince Dawkins, Enertia Software

Enertia Software has named Vince Dawkins president and CEO. Dawkins, former Director of Special Projects and Business Intelligence, was unanimously elected by the Board of Directors.

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to pilot Enertia on a continued path of success” mentions Dawkins. “Enertia has taken the steps in the right direction for advancement in production and billing allocations, mapping integration, field data capture, web services and many other areas. I plan to execute the company’s vision with dedication and tenacity” Dawkins said.

“Vince brings integrity and commitment to his new role at Enertia. His focus on services to Enertia customers and his humble work ethic are inspirational and contagious” said Kevin Schmidt, former CEO of Enertia Software. “We are excited with the developments Vince will lead us to and we all look forward to making the impossible, possible with Vince behind the wheel of projects like Enertia’s enterprise platform” added Schmidt.

“Enertia’s momentum continues with our recent release of 16January including enterprise grade enhancements. Enhancements such as ESRI ArcMap extension or our JIB allocation engine are resulting in faster processing time and are literally revolutionizing how the upstream oil and gas industry will do business” Dawkins said.

Dawkins graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Between 1998 and 2008, Dawkins worked with organizations such as Amoco/BP, Accenture, David Powers and EAG Solutions. In August 2008, Dawkins joined Enertia Software as a senior business analyst where he contributed to the design, development, and implementation of an enterprise application for upstream oil and gas producers.
