AlMansoori appoints new general manager

AlMansoori Specialized Engineering, which provides oilfield services in the Middle East, has appointed Ahmed Aboulfotouh as a general manager for AlMansoori Production Services.

Bringing more than 29 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Aboulfotouh has served in several senior management and leadership roles in numerous international organizations in Egypt, Pakistan, the UAE, and Libya.

Before joining AlMansoori, Aboulfotouh worked as the Testing & Production Services regional manager, Middle East and North Africa, at Weatherford. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from Alexandria University in Egypt.

In 2008, AlMansoori created holding companies Al Mansoori Petroleum Services (AMPS) and Al Mansoori Petroleum Industries (AMPI), which segregated the company's business units and manufacturing and fabrication unit respectively. Additionally, AlMansoori has developed an integrated project services division to ensure that clients who may use more than one of AlMansoori's skills experience seamless project management. The company's activities are predominantly in the Middle East and North Africa.
