Mercatus Energy Advisors opens in Denmark; Elgkjaer joins firm as VP of EMEA

Morten Elgkjaer has been named vice president of Mercatus Energy Advisors – EMEA. Based in Copenhagen, the energy advisory and research firm's European, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) efforts will be integrated with the firm's global efforts and will help the firm better serve its EMEA-based clients, as well as its international clients with operations in the EMEA regions.

Elgkjaer previously served in commodity and foreign exchange sales and trading roles at OW Bunker and Nordea Markets.

Mercatus Energy Advisors is an independent energy advisory and research firm. The firm provides corporate, government, and institutional clients with solutions in both the financial and physical energy markets through a comprehensive suite of quantitative and qualitative services. Headquartered in Houston, the firm also has offices in Copenhagen and Singapore.
