io oil & gas consulting, an independent venture backed by GE Oil & Gas and McDermott, has enhanced its global team by appointing Jeff Measamer as general manager of the Americas, Ed Hernandez as vice president of operations, and Jerry Toth as director of business development.
Measamer will oversee the work in the Americas Region for io’s client base, as well as lead the expansion of the new office as io establishes itself in the US. He has joined io from McDermott International, where he was engineering director for Americas, Europe, and Africa, overseeing subsea and facilities engineering across the regions. He has more than 30 years of experience as a multi-discipline manager. During this time, he has worked in procurement, manufacturing management, engineering management, project management, quality systems, and startup operations.
Hernandez joins with over 20 years of experience on numerous international and domestic projects in the various energy sectors from oil and gas production and pipelines to power generation. He was most recently responsible for developing new business in Latin America for greenfield oil and gas production projects, both offshore and onshore, that included all countries in the region from Mexico to Argentina.
Toth has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development. He has been based in Houston for a number of years, gaining experience in sales for subsea systems, processing equipment, and integrated solutions for key accounts in North America.
The company’s Houston office was set up last summer and is now the base for three new members of the io leadership team. The company launched in January 2015, with its initial office located in London.
