Hurricane Energy to make directorate change

Nicholas Mardon-Taylor will retire as CFO and as a director of Hurricane Energy plc, as planned, on Jan. 31. The process to identify a new CFO is underway.

Dr. Robert Trice, chief executive, commented, "Nicholas has been with Hurricane from the start and throughout a period in which we have achieved very significant milestones which have set us on a path toward Lancaster field development. We are enormously grateful for his contributions and wish him very well in his retirement."

Hurricane is an oil and gas company focused on hydrocarbon resources in naturally fractured basement reservoirs. The company's focus is to discover, appraise, and develop oil reserves in basement rock, and has found oil on the UK Continental Shelf.
