Lillian Harris has joined Post & Schell PC as a principal in its Energy & Utilities Practice Group, resident in the firm’s Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, office. She also joins as a member of the firm’s Marcellus Shale Practice Group.
Harris has more than 25 years of industry, government, and private practice experience in energy and utility industry-specific legal matters, including regulatory and transactional matters, Marcellus shale matters, as well as government affairs and legislative experience.
Harris joins Post & Schell from UGI Utilities Inc., where she served as director of legislative affairs. Before her brief service as Counsel to the PA PUC, she spent 20 years in private practice with a regulatory-focused law firm representing clients in the energy and utilities industries, including natural gas, electric, water/sewer, and telecommunications companies. Her practice for these clients focused on rate cases, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory and compliance matters.
Harris is a graduate of Penn State University’s Dickinson School of Law, and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public service from Penn State University. She served as a senior clerk to the Honorable James Gardner Colins of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania from 1987 through 1990.
