Dana Gas plans to slash costs, cut jobs

Dana Gas plans to cut its costs by half and to eliminate its head-office workforce by 40%, according to Reuters, citing the company’s chief executive, Patrick Allman-Ward.

The Abu Dhabi-listed energy company will continue to expand its operations in Egypt, where its Balsam field in the Nile delta came onstream in late 2015. In addition to Egypt, Dana Gas has operations in the United Arab Emirates and in Iraq's Kurdistan region.
