WellDog hires Thornock as group CFO

WellDog has hired Trenton Thornock as the company’s group CFO. Thornock is based in Houston, and will lead WellDog’s finance team and support the company’s continued expansion in North American and Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining WellDog, Thornock was senior vice president and CFO of Scientific Drilling International, an independent directional drilling company. He has also served as CFO and vice president of finance for Duratherm and for US Zinc, and as chairman of the board for Aviation Consultants Inc. His career has included extended posts in a variety of international markets. Thornock currently serves as a board member at Breitling Energy Corp.

Thornock holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, along with a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from the University of Utah. He is a certified public accountant, not in public practice.
