Schlumberger issues senior notes

Schlumberger Holding Corp. (SHC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Schlumberger Ltd. (NYSE: SLB) and the holding company for Schlumberger’s US operations, will issue five tranches of senior notes with the following maturities: 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2025. The offering was expected to close on Dec. 10.

The net proceeds to SHC from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes, including financing a portion of the consideration of Schlumberger’s pending acquisition of Cameron International Corp.
