CNPC signs cooperation agreement with Mubadala Petroleum

China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Mubadala Petroleum, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mubadala Development Co., which is owned by the government of Abu Dhabi.

Under the agreement, the two companies will work jointly on upstream oil and gas investment and relevant project services outside the United Arab Emirates, specifically in conventional onshore projects, offshore projects, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects.
