Baker Hughes releases November rig counts

The international rig count for November was 1,109, down 2 from the 1,111 counted in October, and down 215 from the 1,324 counted in November 2014, according to Baker Hughes Inc. (NYSE: BHI). The international offshore rig count for November was 259, down 11 from the 270 counted in October, and down 82 from the 341 counted in November 2014.

The average US rig count for November was 760, down 31 from the 791 counted in October, and down 1,165 from the 1,925 counted in November 2014. The average Canadian rig count for November was 178, down 6 from the 184 counted in October, and down 243 from the 421 counted in November 2014.

The worldwide rig count for November was 2,047, down 39 from the 2,086 counted in October, and down 1,623 from the 3,670 counted in November 2014.
