Midstates Petroleum extends exchange offer

Midstates Petroleum Co. Inc. (NYSE: MPO) has extended the primary expiration date for its exchange offer relating to its outstanding 10% senior secured second lien notes due 2020.

The exchange offer, previously scheduled to expire at 5 p.m., New York City time, on Nov. 16, has been extended until 5 p.m., New York City time, on Nov. 18, unless further extended by the company. Holders of notes previously tendered for exchange shall have the right to withdraw tenders of the notes at any time prior to the expiration of the exchange offer.

As of 5 p.m., New York City time, on Nov. 16, holders of $624,809,000, or 99%, of the outstanding second lien notes had tendered their notes for exchange.
