Enbridge cuts workforce in Canada and US

Due to the effects of continuing low crude prices, pipeline company Enbridge Inc. has cut 5% of its workforce this week, according to Reuters. The job cuts represented approximately 500 employees in both Canada and the US.

Reuters noted that another Canadian pipeline company, TransCanada, has reduced its headcount by more than 20% in recent weeks.
