Kutak Rock expands national energy practice

Adam A. Veltri and Kenneth S. Witt have joined law firm Kutak Rock’s national energy and natural resources practice. Based in Denver, Colorado, Veltri and Witt join a national platform of attorneys focused on deepening and expanding relationships and pursuing new projects in the Rocky Mountain region and nationally.

Veltri has more than 25 years of experience in commercial transactions and corporate finance, and concentrates his practice on the oil and gas industry. He has advised a variety of oil and gas companies and investment firms on issues related to acquisitions, divestitures, financings, and operations. He has also held senior management positions with two exploration and production companies, focusing on oil and gas title examination, joint ventures, exploration and development agreements, joint operating agreements, participation agreements, and credit agreements.

Witt, a corporate and securities attorney with more than 30 years of experience, represents energy and non-energy clients in public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions. He also serves as lead counsel on a variety of transactions, including venture capital investments, information technology outsourcing, international finance, and strategic alliances. Most recently, he led the private equity and venture capital practice group at his former firm.
