Senex, GLNG to develop Queensland's Western Surat Gas Project

Senex Energy Ltd. and GLNG have entered into a series of agreements for the development of the Western Surat Gas Project in Queensland, Australia.

Commenting on the transactions, Senex Managing Director Ian Davies said that the execution of the long-term agreements with GLNG’s participants – Santos, Total, Petronas, and KOGAS – delivers a commercialization and financing pathway to enable Senex to proceed toward a final investment decision (FID) for the Western Surat Gas Project.

The transactions, which are conditional on certain government approvals and GLNG participant approval, are expected to be completed by the end of 2015.
