Intervale Capital, an energy-focused private equity firm, has added Patrick Connelly as partner and has also promoted Jason Turowsky to partner.
Connelly joins Intervale from SCF Partners, an energy private equity group based in Houston. As a managing director, he was responsible for the development of new investment opportunities and the execution of strategic efforts at the firm's portfolio companies. During his time at SCF, Connelly joined Forum Energy Technologies, a global manufactured technologies provider, where he oversaw a range of strategic initiatives, including the company's initial public offering. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the US Military Academy at West Point. He also completed a dual Master of Business Administration/Master of Public Administration (MBA/MPA) degree program from Harvard Business School and the Kennedy School of Government.
Turowsky joined Intervale in 2013 as vice president, and was promoted to principal in January. He has led several transactions, and manages Intervale's investments in Certus Energy Solutions, Tier 1 Energy Solutions, and TorcSill Foundations. Prior to Intervale, Turowsky served as principal at Falconhead Capital, a middle-market private equity fund. During his 10 years at Falconhead, he focused on evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments across an array of industries. Turowsky began his career at UBS Investment Bank, where he advised on a variety of capital markets and merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
