Heidrick & Struggles adds former Wood Mackenzie SVP to Houston office

Heidrick & Struggles (Nasdaq: HSII), a provider of executive search, leadership consulting, and culture shaping worldwide, has added David Pruner to its global industrial practice, which serves the oil, gas, and power sectors. He will be based at the firm's Houston office.

Pruner joins Heidrick & Struggles from Wood Mackenzie, a global research and strategic advisory firm specializing in the energy, chemicals, metals, and mining industries, where he has been a senior vice president for the past 12 years. Previously, he served as president of J.M. Huber Resource Services Inc., a natural resources and specialty chemicals firm.

Pruner earned a Master of Finance degree at Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Methodist University.
