Maana, which provides search engine technology for big-data-fueled solutions, has expanded its team serving the oil and gas industry. Former Chevron executive Peter Breunig will form and chair Maana’s new Oil and Gas Customer Advisory Board.
The former general manager of technology management and architecture at Chevron IT, Breunig spent over 30 years at Chevron in upstream technical support, application and research.
Other employees with oil and gas experience who have joined Maana are Erhan Eren and Jeff Dalgliesh.
Eren is the company’s business development manager, based out of Houston. He will work with prospective customers to identify needs and provide business solutions that directly impact line-of-business operations. Eren was at Baker Hughes for eight years, most recently as an enterprise marketing manager, where he helped identify regional opportunities to develop new markets, increase market share, and obtain a competitive position in the industry.
Dalgliesh is a drilling and completions technology enterprise architect and Maana’s search-enabled-solutions leader. During his 18-year tenure at Chevron, Dalgliesh most recently led the Chevron Global Information Technology Group for Drilling and Completions, providing technology support and capabilities for Chevron’s 14 global upstream drilling and completions business units.
