CGG plans to transform organization

CGG is engaged in a transformation plan to adapt to the new environment and market conditions. A more centralized organization is now being deployed to ensure that the company has the strongest possible foundation from which to operate and grow in the future.

As of Sept. 1, a Corporate Committee is being chaired by CEO Jean-Georges Malcor, and comprises CFO Stephane-Paul Frydman; the two COOs, Pascal Rouiller and Sophie Zurquiyah; and the executive vice president of human resources, David Dragone. The committee members will share global management of the company and responsibility for the various business lines, group functions, and group departments.

CGG provides geological, geophysical, and reservoir services to customers primarily from the global oil and gas industry.
