Cameron to cut 150 jobs in Houston

Cameron International Corp. (NYSE: CAM) plans to eliminate approximately 150 jobs at its Brittmore facility in Houston beginning in November, according to the Houston Business Journal, citing Cameron’s notification to the Texas Workforce Commission.

Due to current industry conditions, the company has decided to reduce its operations at the Brittmore facility. Cameron is in a merger process with Schlumberger, and this mega-transaction could result in further company job cuts.
