Peak Oil & Gas appoints non-executive director

Peak Oil & Gas Ltd. has appointed Peter Armitage as an independent non-executive director, effective Aug. 17.

Armitage has served on the boards of numerous oil and gas resources companies, including Strategic Energy Resources Ltd., Oroya Mining Ltd., and Bass Strait Oil Co. Ltd.

Following the resignation of Jeff Steketee and Jum Durrant, the Peak board of directors now comprises Armitage, Geoffrey Albers, and Rae Clark.
