Bomin Group appoints Nelson as VP of US operations

The Bomin Group, a global physical supplier and trader of marine fuel oil, has appointed Chris Nelson as its new vice president for supply and operations in North America. He will be based in Houston, Texas.

Nelson has experience within the bunkering industry, having worked for SK Energy Americas Inc., PetroChina International (America) Inc., Chevron, and OceanConnect. He has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston.

The Bomin Group has been active in the bunker business for more than 35 years via its subsidiaries and is a global independent supplier and trader of bunker oil. The company’s business portfolio covers activities ranging from the supply of bunker fuels to lubricants and other services to the shipping industry.
