Select Energy Services appoints Gillette as SVP/CFO

Select Energy Services LLC, which provides water-management solutions to the oil and gas industry, has appointed Gary Gillette as senior vice president and CFO. The new position, based at Select’s Gainesville, Texas, operational headquarters, was created as part of Select’s efforts to strengthen the operating company’s leadership team as it continues its focus exclusively on the water sector.

Gillette brings over 30 years of industry experience to the position. Most recently, he spent eight years with Allied Oil and Gas Services LLC as senior vice president and CFO. He began his career with Ernst & Young before serving in finance and operations roles with Thomson Tax & Accounting.

Gillette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Concord University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Eric Mattson will continue his role as executive vice president and CFO for parent company SES Holdings LLC at the company’s Houston corporate headquarters. Mattson will focus on supporting the growth of all SES Holdings companies.
