France’s Seisquare Holdings to open Americas headquarters in Houston

Seisquare Holdings SA, a French software company providing products that help improve oil and gas exploration, plans to open a new headquarters in Houston, which will serve the Americas and house a new product development team, according to the Houston Business Journal.

While the new headquarters will be a product development hub and sales office for the Americas, the company will keep its office in France and use it for research and development.

Seisquare’s interpretation software helps exploration and production (E&P) companies improve their hit rates on the seismic data extracted from the field. It also assists companies in making decisions on where to drill and on how much oil or gas can be extracted from an individual well.

Seisquare currently works with Schlumberger's Petrel E&P program.
