Ensco CFO to retire

Jay Swent, executive vice president and CFO, will be retiring from Ensco plc (NYSE: ESV) after more than 11 years of service. Swent will continue to serve in his current role until the succession process has been completed and a new CFO has been named. The completion of the succession process may extend into the first half of next year.

Ensco plc provides offshore drilling services to the petroleum industry. The company owns ultra-deepwater fleets, along with a fleet of jackups. Its fleet includes drillships, semisubmersibles, moored semisubmersibles, and jackups. Ensco also provides drilling management services for customer-owned rigs.
