Stallion appoints Mannon as president and CEO

Stallion Oilfield Holdings Inc. has named David C. Mannon as the company’s next president and CEO and member of the board of directors, effective immediately. Mannon joins Stallion with more than 30 years of experience in the oilfield industry.

Mannon previously served as CEO and president of Parker Drilling Co., a global land and marine energy service company providing contract drilling solutions, rental tools, and project management services to the energy industry, as well as CEO and president of Triton Engineering Services Co. (a subsidiary of Noble Corp.), a global turnkey and project management company serving both land and offshore areas. He also held management positions at SEDCO-FOREX, a global offshore drilling contractor now a part of Transocean.

Mannon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston. He is currently a member of the International Association of Drilling Contractors and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Mannon is an executive board member of Southern Methodist University’s Lyle College of Engineering. He also serves on the boards of two privately-held companies, IronGate Energy Services LLC, an international oilfield rental tool company, and Earl Energy Co., a provider of power equipment for energy, military, and other uses.
