Seven Lakes CEO is an EY Entrepreneur of the Year

Shiva Rajagopalan, CEO of Seven Lakes Technologies Shiva Rajagopalan, CEO of Seven Lakes Technologies, a developer of enterprise software and solutions for the oil and gas industry, received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2015 Award in the Business Services category in Greater Los Angeles. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Rajagopalan was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a black-tie Awards Gala event on June 16 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

Seven Lakes Technologies was founded in 2009 when Rajagopalan noticed large technology gaps in the upstream oil and gas sector and was able to deliver software-based efficiency tools to various early customers. The company has grown to 28 clients and has 60 employees spread across its four offices: Westlake Village, CA (HQ); Irvine, CA; Houston, TX and Bangalore, India. "This is an incredible honor for the entire team and a validation of our hard work, drive and commitment to delivering innovative, impactful and game-changing software technology to the oil and gas industry,” said Rajagopalan. “We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but we are very excited by the results we are seeing and our expectations for the future," he added.

As a Greater Los Angeles award recipient, Rajagopalan is eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2015 national program. Award recipients in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award recipient, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 14, 2015.
