Amec Foster Wheeler appoints new president of upstream business development

Amec Foster Wheeler has appointed George Hernandez as president of upstream business development. He will be based in the company’s Houston office. 

Prior to this new role, Hernandez was vice president of operations and business unit general manager for WorleyParsons’ upstream business since 2013. Previously, he held senior operations and business development roles with WorleyParsons, and, preceding this, held a business development role with Wood Group Mustang. Hernandez started his career at UOP in project management, working on a number of refining, petrochemical, and natural gas projects.

Hernandez has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois in Chicago.
