Miller Energy appoints Elliott as new CFO

Miller Energy Resources Inc. (NYSE: MILL), an oil and natural gas production company focused on Alas Phillip G. Elliott, Miller Energy CFO ka, has appointed Phillip G. Elliott as the company's new CFO.

Prior to joining Miller Energy, Elliott was senior vice president of strategic planning, land and commercial analysis for EQT. During his more than 18 years with EQT, he also served as treasurer, as well as in a number of other financial and corporate development roles.

Jeff McInturff, who served as interim CFO following the departure of John M. Brawley in November 2014, will continue his responsibilities as chief accounting officer.
