LINN plans to close Denver office, eliminate positions

LINN Energy plans to eliminate 55 positions in Denver, Colorado, and close its office there, according to Fuel Fix, which reported that LINN stated its intentions in a letter to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.

LINN plans to close its Denver office by mid-June, and some of the Denver-based employees may have an opportunity to relocate to other LINN locations. The move is part of LINN's restructuring effort, which aims to cut its spending budget in half to improve the company's efficiency and long-term stability.
