Pinkerton joins Lonestar Resources board of directors

Lonestar Resources Ltd. (ASX: LNR, OTCQX: LNREF) has elected John Pinkerton to the company’s board of directors.

Pinkerton became a director of Range Resources Corp. in 1988 and was elected chairman of the board of directors in 2008. He joined Range as president in 1990 and was appointed CEO in 1992. In 2012, Pinkerton retired as CEO and stepped down as chairman on Jan. 1. He remains a director of Range. Previously, Pinkerton served in various capacities at Snyder Oil Corp. for 12 years, including the position of senior vice president.

Pinkerton received his Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Texas Christian University, where he now serves on the board of trustees, and a master's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
